App Store Version - It Just Keeps Getting Better

The EazyDraw App Store version (3.7.0) provides the same basic features as the standard version (version 3.5.0) with a few changes that are summarized in the following paragraphs.

Most importantly the App Store version is a 64 / 32 capable, the standard version is based on the older 32 bit technology. This provides faster performance, greatly improved accuracy (12 decimal places compared to 5 decimal places for 32 bit Apps), and potential to access larger drawings.

The App Store version supports multi-threading making many of your drawing activities faster an some instantaneous. There is even a new Bundle file format for large multi-layer drawings. This new format stores each layer in an independent package file which allows layers to read and write simultaneously on multi-core CPUs. This means a large drawing will open more quickly.

No support for the Classic drawing formats. The App Store version does NOT support the PICT graphic format, and does NOT open MacDraw, ClarisDraw, or AppleWorks drawings. The standard release of EazyDraw which is still available at the EazyDraw online store provides support for these formats. Email EazyDraw support if you require further clarification.

All basic drawing functions, (menus, palettes, tools, ...) are the same for both versions; explore the full EazyDraw web site to learn more.

EazyDraw now provides full support for SVG (Scalable Vector Graphics). SVG is an XML language for the description of 2d vector graphics. This is an open standard sponsored by the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C). SVG has wide corporate and platform support, most browsers now support SVG.
